Anthony Scaramucci, the founder of Skybridge Capital, has clarified that it is still possible to purchase bitcoin. He predicts that many people are questioning if they missed the chance to purchase bitcoin as its price has surged beyond $50,000. Scaramucci emphasized that he has a firm “no” to that.
Anthony Scaramucci: Should You Invest in Bitcoin?
Despite the fact that the price of bitcoin reached $50,000 on Monday, Anthony Scaramucci, the founder of Skybridge Capital, has insisted that it is still possible for investors to purchase bitcoin. Scaramucci explained on the social networking site X:
The typical investor is once again asking themselves, “Did I miss buying opportunity?” as bitcoin has recovered above $50,000. Hard “no” is the answer.
Falling interest rates, which can make assets like bitcoin more appealing, rising demand for spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which will bring “billions in new flows” to the market, and the impending Bitcoin halving in about two months are the three main factors that the founder of Skybridge believes will drive the price of bitcoin upward.
Scaramucci stressed that:
Impending face-ripping rally, I think.
In January, Scaramucci said he anticipated that if the price of bitcoin holds steady until the halving in April, it will rise to $170,000 by the following year. “If bitcoin is at $45,000 on the halving, which is roughly where it is right now, it will be $170,000 by mid-to-late 2025,” he declared. As of this writing, the price of Bitcoin is $49,653.97.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved spot bitcoin ETFs on January 10th. Additionally, he forecast a substantial capital influx from Wall Street into these funds. He added that through 2024, the price of bitcoin will rise due to the exponential rise of wallets and the widespread use of the cryptocurrency. In the past, Scaramucci stated that investing in bitcoins “is a buy and hold strategy” and that he “would just recommend to people that they hold it.”
